Home Muharram Water Charity in Gaza | Al-Qulub Trust Water Support

On Thursday, 11th June 2026, the Al-Qulub Trust team successfully delivered clean drinking water supplies to refugee families staying at Al Hayat Camp in Al Zowadir, Southern Gaza.

This water distribution was made possible through the generosity of donors who supported our fundraising initiative on 31st May. Because of your kindness, hundreds of families now have access to safe, life-sustaining water during a time of extreme hardship.

For families living in displacement, clean water is not just a basic need. It is protection. It is dignity. It is a relief. It is hope poured into the hands of a child waiting with an empty container.

Why Water Charity Matters So Deeply in Muharram

Muharram is a sacred month of reflection, sacrifice, and compassion. It reminds Muslims around the world to stand with the oppressed, care for the vulnerable, and turn remembrance into action.

The memory of Karbala makes water charity especially meaningful. It reminds us that thirst is not just physical pain; it is a test of humanity. When families are denied comfort, safety, and basic necessities, providing water becomes one of the most powerful ways to show mercy.

Today, in Gaza, many families continue to face severe hardship. Parents are trying to protect their children while struggling for food, shelter, and clean water. In such conditions, a single water delivery can bring immediate relief to an entire family.

That is why your Muharram donation matters. It not only funds a project. It answers a lifeline.

What Happened at Al Hayat Camp in Al Zowadir?

Our team reached Al Hayat Camp in Al Zowadir, Southern Gaza, where displaced families are living through ongoing uncertainty and difficulty. Many arrived carrying containers, waiting patiently for clean drinking water.

Children gathered with hopeful faces. Parents came forward with relief. For many families, this was more than a water distribution. It was a reminder that they have not been forgotten.

Through this deployment, Al-Qulub Trust provided safe drinking water to hundreds of refugee families. Every container filled represented another family supported, another child protected, and another moment of relief created by donor generosity.

Your Donation Became More Than Water

When donors gave to this campaign, they may have seen it as a simple act of charity. But on the ground, that charity became something much greater.

Your donation helped provide:

  • Clean drinking water for displaced families
  • Relief for children and parents in Al Hayat Camp
  • Support for families facing extreme hardship
  • A sense of dignity during displacement
  • Hope for people who continue to endure daily struggles

Water is one of the most urgent needs in any humanitarian crisis. Without it, families cannot drink safely, cook properly, wash, care for children or maintain basic hygiene. With it, they can survive another day with a little more comfort and dignity.

The Smiles That Remind Us Why We Serve

One of the most moving moments from this distribution was seeing the smiles on children’s faces as they gathered with their containers.

In difficult conditions, even a simple smile can carry a powerful message. It shows relief. It shows trust. It shows the impact of every donor who chose to give.

Behind every water container is a family story. A mother trying to keep her children safe. A father searching for essentials. A child who deserves clean water, safety and a future.

Clean Water Is a Human Right

Access to clean water is not a luxury. It is a fundamental human right. For refugee families, water means survival. It means being able to drink without fear. It means children can stay hydrated. It means families can protect themselves from illness and maintain basic dignity even in the hardest circumstances.

This is why Al-Qulub Trust continues to prioritise water support as part of our wider humanitarian mission. When communities are facing crisis, clean water is often one of the first and most urgent needs. Your support allows us to respond.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Every Donor

We extend our deepest gratitude to every donor, supporter, and volunteer who made this water distribution possible.

Your generosity reached families in Al Hayat Camp. Your support helped provide safe water to people facing displacement and hardship. Your kindness became a source of relief in Southern Gaza.

May Almighty Allah reward your beautiful intentions, accept your charity, and multiply your reward. Ameen.

Continue Supporting Gaza Families

The need in Gaza remains urgent. Families still require clean water, food, shelter, medical support and emergency relief. With your continued support, Al-Qulub Trust can keep reaching vulnerable communities and delivering life-saving aid where it is needed most.

This Muharram, let your charity become a source of mercy.

Support clean water for Gaza. Help restore dignity. Help protect families. Help answer another lifeline.
