On Saturday, 27 June 2026, the Al-Qulub Trust team delivered hundreds of freshly prepared hot meals to displaced children and families at Al Hayat Camp.
The distribution was made possible through the generosity of our supporters and the Palestine Cup campaign. Meals were prepared by our relief teams and hand-delivered across the camp, providing families with nourishing food and a moment of comfort during extremely difficult circumstances.
For families living through displacement and uncertainty, a hot meal is not simply food. It can mean relief from one immediate worry, a sense of dignity and the reassurance that they have not been forgotten.
For many displaced families living in temporary camps, securing enough food each day has become a constant challenge.
Parents caring for large families can face serious difficulty accessing basic ingredients and everyday food supplies. When normal markets, employment and supply networks are disrupted, something as simple as preparing a nutritious family meal can become incredibly difficult.
One father described the reality simply:
“We just need a single meal a day to survive these hardships.”
Behind those words is the daily reality facing many families trying to care for their children while living with displacement and limited access to essential supplies.
This is why emergency food aid and freshly prepared hot meals remain an important part of Al-Qulub Trust’s humanitarian response.
During the 27 June food distribution at Al Hayat Camp, our team worked to ensure meals reached families directly.
Fresh ingredients were sourced and prepared through relief kitchens operating on the ground. Large quantities of meals were then cooked, packed, and distributed throughout the camp.
The process includes:
Each stage matters because effective Palestine food relief is not simply about providing supplies. It is about ensuring help reaches people in a form they can use immediately.
A freshly prepared meal carries meaning beyond its nutritional value.
For a parent struggling to provide food for their children, receiving a prepared meal can remove one urgent burden from the day.
For a child, it can provide warmth, nourishment and a small sense of normality.
And for an entire family, it is a reminder that people around the world continue to care about their wellbeing.
At Al-Qulub Trust, humanitarian assistance is centred on dignity. Families facing hardship deserve to receive support with compassion, respect and care.
Every meal shared represents that commitment.
Al-Qulub Trust’s ground teams continue to support food-relief efforts through on-site humanitarian kitchens.
These kitchens help turn donations into practical assistance by sourcing ingredients, preparing meals and distributing food directly within displaced communities.
This approach is especially valuable where families may have limited access to cooking equipment, markets or sufficient ingredients to prepare meals themselves.
Instead of expecting families to overcome those barriers, prepared food can be delivered directly to where it is needed.
Support from donors makes distributions like the one at Al Hayat Camp possible.
Donations to the Al-Qulub Trust Palestine Appeal help support ongoing humanitarian relief efforts, including food assistance for vulnerable and displaced families.
A contribution can help fund the practical steps behind each meal: ingredients, preparation, cooking, packing and distribution.
Every packed meal has one clear purpose — to provide essential nourishment to a family experiencing hardship.

Humanitarian relief is ultimately about people.
It is the father trying to find enough food for his family.
It is the mother caring for her children in uncertain conditions.
It is the child receiving a warm meal after another difficult day.
On 27 June 2026, hundreds of meals were delivered at Al Hayat Camp because supporters chose to act.
Each meal provided nourishment, but it also carried something less visible and equally important: hope, dignity and solidarity.
To every person who donated, supported the Palestine Cup campaign or helped make this distribution possible, thank you.
Together, compassion can become action.
And action can reach a family exactly when it is needed.

Ground teams source available ingredients, prepare large quantities of food through relief kitchens, pack the meals and distribute them directly to families within displaced communities.
Displaced families may have limited access to markets, ingredients, cooking facilities, and stable income. Prepared meals provide immediate nourishment without requiring families to source or cook the food themselves.
