Where Water Was a Dream, Now Flows Hope

In the drought-stricken region of Tharparkar, Sindh, access to clean drinking water remains a daily challenge for countless rural communities. In villages like Gajhyari, families walk for hours to collect water from unsafe, distant sources. But with the introduction of solar-powered water pumps, a sustainable and life-changing solution is now reaching those who need it most.

Al-Qulub Welfare Trust Brings Clean Water to Gajhyari, Tharparkar

In the heart of Tharparkar’s arid plains, in the humble village of Gajhyari, a miracle is unfolding quietly, powerfully, and with purpose.

Thanks to the unwavering support of our donors, Al-Qulub Welfare Trust has successfully launched a large solar-powered water pump project in the Som Ji neighbourhood, bringing the promise of life to a community that once survived on scarcity.

A Ray of Light in a Thirsty Land

For the residents of Gajhyari village, fetching water was not just a task; it was a daily battle. The community, composed of 30 to 40 households and surrounded by even larger settlements, relied on distant, unsafe wells in lower areas. Women and children often walked for hours under the scorching sun just to bring back a few containers of muddy water.

But now, with solar energy powering a fresh water supply, that struggle is being replaced by dignity, ease, and health.

According to UNICEF (2023), 70% of households in rural Pakistan lack reliable access to clean drinking water. Tharparkar District is among the most severely impacted regions due to its desert climate and poor infrastructure.

The Power of a Simple Gesture

This project is not just about pipes and solar panels; it’s about transformation. It’s about seeing a mother no longer worried about her child’s hydration, about children going to school instead of carrying buckets.

When you donate clean water through Al-Qulub Welfare Trust, you are gifting more than hydration; you are restoring futures.

Water is Life, and You are the Giver of life.

As shown in our on-site video, the project began with a heartfelt prayer, an emotional plea to Allah to grant sweet, abundant water to this deserving, often forgotten corner of the world.

Every drop of this water is a testament to that prayer. Every child who drinks safely, every elder who no longer walks miles, and every seed that grows is a sign of answered duas, made possible by the water pump charity.

Solar Water Pumps: Clean, Sustainable, Lifesaving

Tharparkar is not short on sunlight, but it has long been short on water. That’s why our solution isn’t temporary. Our solar water pumps are eco-friendly, cost-efficient, and sustainable.

Solar-powered water systems reduce reliance on diesel fuel, decrease maintenance costs, and operate efficiently in remote areas. According to the World Bank, solar pumping can reduce long-term water costs by up to 80% compared to fuel-based systems.

This is what makes your water pump donation so powerful: it creates long-term change. It’s not just a drop in the ocean; it’s a stream of blessings that never dries.

Multiply the Blessing: Be a Part of the Next Water Project

Allah promises in the Qur’an that charity never decreases wealth. When you donate water pump installations through Al-Qulub Trust, your reward flows continuously, sadaqah jariyah, for as long as someone benefits.

Our mission in Kaloi Tehsil, Khatlari Union Council, Tharparkar District is far from over. Many more villages are still waiting for their first taste of clean water. You can be the reason that day comes.

You Can Be the Difference

In Gajhyari, water was once a luxury. Today, it flows. Tomorrow, with your help, it can do the same for hundreds more. Let the wells flow. Let the prayers rise. Let your giving echo in every drop.

Sponsor a water project. Donate life. Choose compassion.
